Sublimation Mugs
We specialize in dye-sublimation, the best branding technology for full colour image tranfers. The dyes are fused into the polymer-coated mug substrate at a molecular level, as opposed to being applied topically. The benefits of this are that the prints will not crack, peel or fade with regular use.
Sublimation Process
The sublimation process begins when heat and pressure is applied to a solid, turning it into a gas through an endothermic reaction and skipping the liquid phase. The image or artwork is first printed on to a special transfer paper with special dye sublimation ink. When heat and pressure is applied via a mug press machine to a specially coated mug for sublimation, the ink on the transfer paper turns into a gas. The image or artwork is then fused into the mug at a molecular level and the end result is a vibrant beautifully decorated mug with your design!
